The 2025 Corolla 1.2T, released in December 2025, is the turbo petrol Corolla in its most efficient form: both Pioneer and Elite trims are rated at 5.88 L/100 km on the WLTC cycle, slightly better than the 2026 1.2T. The 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo delivers 85 kW (116 PS) and 185 N·m through a CVT, and the car keeps the 4,635 mm body and 2,700 mm wheelbase shared with Corollas built since 2019. Inside, a black-and-orange trim scheme sets it apart from the plainer 2026 1.2T. Pioneer gets an 8-inch screen and 15-inch wheels; Elite adds a 10.25-inch screen, power sunroof, 16-inch wheels, six speakers and 4G connectivity. It is a strong fit for dealers who want a recognisable, easy-to-service Corolla at a lower landed cost than the hybrid.
